Our story

The story of Insight High School Ministry began 26 years ago through a meeting of the Ministers Fraternal in Gosford, with a shared vision to bring Faith based support and teaching into local public high schools.

That vision was first championed by Craig Corkill and soon became a shared commitment among local churches. A Deed of Trust was established and signed by a number of Christian leaders from churches across the area, laying the foundation for the ministry and its future work.

Since those early days, local church communities have faithfully stood behind the ministry. Year after year, they have provided Board members, Christian workers, prayer, encouragement and financial support—making it possible for the ministry to continue reaching young people in our local high schools.

Over the years, the way we deliver the ministry has changed and developed in response to the needs of schools and students. But the heart of the vision has remained the same: to give young people the opportunity to hear and explore faith in a thoughtful, respectful and meaningful way.

Our journey has been shaped by the faithfulness of many people—those who had the original vision, those who have served and supported the ministry over the years, and the churches that continue to stand with us today.

We are grateful for all the works enabled through this ministry over the past 26 years, and we look forward with faith and purpose to the years ahead.
